[ccpops] meeting and jobs list

To all CC-POPS members:

    A quick reminder that there is a mandatory meeting for all students
who are interested in travelling with the Choruses to England and
Scotland next April.  All students must be accompanied by a parent or
designated adult on
Thursday, April 26th at 7:00 PM in the Auditorium.


Also, we are seeking fun-loving people who "cain't say no" to take on
various jobs in the CC-POPS organization for the next year (June
2001-June 2002).  A complete list of jobs with specific descriptions
will be posted on the web site in a few days.  Jobs come in all shapes
and sizes - find the one that's right for you and contact me or any
board member through the web site.

We have an immediate need for a Secretary as Jane Hogan is moving to
Publicity / PR / Outreach.   We are also looking for people to chair (or
co-chair) the parent part of each of the six major student productions
next year.  The six events are: Broadway Cabaret, the Fall Play, the
Fall Dance Performance, the Musical, the Spring Dance performance and
the Spring Play.  Chairs will be well-supported by committees and people
with experience in all areas.  If you like to organize, grab a friend
and pick an event to co-chair.  We'll love you forever. (Note: planning
for Broadway Cabaret starts in June)

We are also looking for students who would like to be more involved in
all areas supported by CC-POPS including graphic design, photgraphy and
video, archiving, promotion, front of house, backstage support,
organizing theater trips, community service projects, publicity and
outreach.  Please contact Karen Morse or any Board member for more info.
