MOZART REQUIEM:

We have a theater trip planned for this coming Wednesday, January 16th
to attend a lecture and open rehearsal of Mozart's Requiem performed by
the B-S-O and the T-F-C. (M-O-U-S-E, oops! that's April...)  I mean the
Boston Symphony Orchestra and the Tanglewood Festival Chorus, at
Symphony Hall in Boston.  The kids have known about this for a while,
but the paperwork was caught in a post-holiday slump (weren't we all?)
so the actual permission slips go home from Chorus classes on Monday.

The trip is a bargain at $18 including transportation.  We meet at CCHS
at 5:15, bus leaves at 5:30 to arrive in Boston for the 6:30 lecture and
7:30 rehearsal.  We should leave Boston by about 9:30 and be back in
Concord at about 10:15pm.

This is a fabulous opportunity to see and hear some of the world's best
musicians in (arguably) the world's best concert hall for a fraction of
the concert ticket price.  The lecture at 6:30 is an amazing bonus!

If your student is interested, remind them to get a permission slip from
Mr. Brown on Monday and return it with a check (payable to CC-POPS) on
Tuesday.
