Greetings all -

Several updates/reminders from the Prez:

1) My e-mail crashed and was down from 4/13-4/23. If you sent me
anything that bounced, please send it again. Thanks!

2) What a trip!! Amazing! Congratulations to the Trip Chorus for truly
professional performances at Disney and Universal and for their
THREE-TROPHY SWEEP at North American Music Festival. The mixed, men's
and women's choruses each earned a first place trophy with (this is the
important part) a SUPERIOR RATING. It doesn't get much better than
this, folks.

3) Congratulations to Mr. Brown, the trip committee and chaperones for
their over-the-top efforts in making this trip a reality. Special Kudos
(and we'll be saying this for a long time) to LUCY MILLER, the ultimate
trip-mom whose determination and perseverance got all 89 of those kids
to Florida and Virginia - and back again.

4) Speaking of gold medals, Tanglewood is coming up on the 12th -
details will be out soon, we promise.

5) DANCE CONCERT!! Jenn Webb's Advanced Dance Project Troupe will
perform "Dance of the Lizard King" on May 16th & 17th (Thursday & Friday
evening at 7:30 PM) in the CCHS auditorium. This is Jenn's Master's
thesis - live and in person. The kids have worked hard all year and it
promises to be two great evenings. Please come support this important
event.

6) Two important CC-POPS meetings this month:
The monthly meeting (my last one!) is next week, Wednesday, May 1st at
7pm in I-6. Come hear all the good trip stories (the ones your kids
won't tell you...)
The second Annual Meeting is Wednesday, May 22nd, also 7pm in I-6. We
turn-over the board for the first time (last year we just kept adding to
it!)
so this is a momentous occasion for CC-POPS. Watch MJ take off the
COSTCO tiara and assume the Presidential crown (Do we have a crown? We
never did get a gavel...)

7) Of course, Pops concert May 31 (band) and June 1 (chorus). Come to a
delightful evening of music and salute our graduating seniors. (We also
could use some help with set-up, refreshements, etc.- contact me)

8) And Shakespeare comes to Concord June 7,8,9. Don't miss Puck and his
friends - tickets on sale soon.

So...we'll be seeing a lot of each other in the next month! Karen
