Greetings!
Please forgive the long message, but I will try to cover all the 
information that you need/want to know for the next few days!

1.) All Chorus Members: Mandatory rehearsal on Tuesday, October 22, 
7:00 - 9:00 pm in the auditorium; Performance on Wednesday, October 23: 
all students must arrive by 6:15 in complete and proper concert 
uniform. [Gowns with comfortable black shoes, nude-colored stockings, 
and no jewelry other than small stud earrings for the girls; tuxedo 
(remember your bow-tie, cummerbund and button studs), black shoes and 
black socks for the boys.] Performance will begin at 7:30.

2.) Please help create the decorations that will enhance the Elks Club 
on November 2nd for our Time To Shine fundraiser. Meet at MJ's (205 
Mattison Drive, Concord) on Thursday, October 24 and/or Wednesday, 
October 30. We will begin at 11:00 and clean-up at 3:00, so drop in 
anytime to lend a hand! Scissors, craft knife and old cd's (like the 
ones aol sends as upgrades) will be helpful. Simple directions and 
on-the-job training provided! Beverages will be provided; bring a 
bagged lunch if you like. We'll have fun cutting, pasting and chatting!

3.)  A Time To Shine: Saturday, November 2, 6:30 pm at the Concord Elks 
Club
Tom Wilson and his committee have organized an evening of great food 
and amazing talent. For tickets contact Steve @ 978 369-2314.
The Silent Auction items will be listed on our website <www.ccpops.org> 
by Wednesday, 10/23, for on-line bidding! If you must miss the event, 
you can still support CC POPS and perhaps 'win' some great items!

4.) Carol Jamison, Ellen Quakenbush and their team have done a fabulous 
job encouraging local merchants to donate to A Time To Shine's silent 
auction. Remember that the funds raised at A Time To Shine cover the 
operating expenses for CC POPS, so the success of the auction benefits 
all our kids! Gift certificates 'sell' better with a bit of creative 
flair, so please add your touch to the following gift basket 
opportunities:
