CCPOPS Monthly Meeting

Meet & Greet at 7:15
Business will commence at 7:30 (Change of time to coincide with Chorus
rehearsal)
1. Welcome and Introduction - MJ
2. Piano Fundraising Update - Carol Jamison
3. Treasurer's Report - Linda Chateauneuf
4. CCHS Colonial Youth Orchestra and Chorus Spring Concert - Mozart's
Requiem
Thursday, April 3 at 8:00pm at Cathedral of St Paul's, Tremont St.,
Boston

Admission price - $10 (expenses include bus transportation for the
students for concert and 'dress' rehearsal') Should we also engage in
clothing drive? (We traditionally ask for donation of goods in lieu of
cash admission). We would also very much like to serve lunch to 'Church
on the Common' on Sunday, June 1st as part of our 'thanks' to St.
Paul's and also to encourage our students to participate in
outreach/community service.
Would someone volunteer to investigate how to make this happen?
5. Theater Trips - Lois Siegelman
Mark Morris - Thursday, March 13
Jesus Christ, Superstar - Tuesday, April 15 (Band leaves for Japan
that day; Spring break begins at end of school on Thursday, April 17.)
Music Man - Saturday, May 4
6. Dance Club - MJ for Wendy Lawson
reconvenes March13; continues on Friday afternoons. Participating
students will be expected to commit to performance in spring.
African Dance workshop (funded by Concord Ed Fund) - April 11 (open
to whole school)
7. Spring Play - The Taming of the Shrew - Cast list to be posted soon
- performances in Little Theater the weekend of May 16. (Directed by
Andy Sapp and Margot Law)
8. Spring 2004 trip
9. RAGTIME! What a time it was!!
