An e-agenda for your consideration!

1.) Pops concert:  A huge thank-you to everyone who baked delicious 
cookies, helped with set-up, stayed to clean-up, and supported our 
students. The performances of the Orchestra and Vocal Groups were as 
impressive as always.

I have in my possession some items that were left behind on Saturday 
night, specifically, a battery, cable and film that seem to belong to a 
JVC video camera. Give me a shout if you are missing these items!

2.) Common Cathedral Outreach: A group of hearty and unselfish students 
distributed lunches to the homeless congregation of 'Common Cathedral' 
on Sunday during monsoon weather! Lydia Sapp, Ali McGuirk. Michael 
Jamison and Rachel Cooper will receive community service hours for 
their generous offering (probably the most physically uncomfortable 
hours of their high school careers!)  I was especially touched when '03 
students were willing to spend their Sunday in such inclement weather, 
as they had nothing to gain but a sense of personal fulfillment: Carl 
Nadler, John Wilson, David Ballard and Ellie Monserud are very special 
Seniors! All eight students proudly represented CCHS and their presence 
was appreciated. Sincere gratitude is extended to Sara Ballard who 
organized the whole endeavor for us and to Susie Chivas and Rick Moore 
who also braved the wet weather to help on Sunday.

3.) Next Year's Monthly Meetings: Finally, I am hoping that you will be 
offer some direction as we plan the calendar for the '03-'04 school 
year. This year we tried (not always successfully) to offer monthly 
meetings on different days, so that folks with standing commitments 
would be able to attend once in awhile. On the other hand, I realize 
that inconsistency can be confusing, and makes it easier to forget 
about the monthly meeting. I am seeking your help with this decision. 
Please reply and indicate whether you would prefer the monthly meetings 
to be held on the same evening each month, or would like to see them 
'bounced about' on different days of the week. Majority rules!
