CCPOPS Goes to Tanglewood!

The Date: Sunday, August 22

The Time: Concert starts at 2:30; let's begin congregating an hour 
before.

The Place: Tanglewood, Lenox, Massachusetts. Details of where to meet 
on the lawn to follow.

The Program: Beethoven's Piano Concerto No. 4 and Mahler's Symphony No. 
1 performed by the Tanglewood Music Center Orchestra.

The Plan: Anyone who wants to enjoy a great concert in the company of 
great people should purchase tickets. (Tickets for the shed should be 
purchased in advance at www.bso.org; 1-888-266-1200 M-F 10-5 or Sat 
10-4. There is a $5 per ticket service fee. You may purchase lawn 
tickets when you arrive at Tanglewood.) Let MJ know you are coming 
(978-369-4406 or <mjd205 at mac.com>), so she can claim enough space on 
the lawn (even if you decide to sit inside for the concert, we hope you 
will picnic beforehand!). MJ will contact you a few days in advance to 
let you know how to find our space. Please bring everything you need 
for your own comfort - picnic, lawn chairs, blanket. If you want to 
bring some food to share, it will add to the fun!

details regarding their meeting/picnic/concert plans for the same day.
