My apologies as I read an article recently and I have lost the link ... BUT its contents are important and went something like this:

For the next 2 weeks the Pacific Northwest is at an unusually high alert for a potentially large earthquake,

The article explains that our technology to accurately predict earthquakes is still not that great - but regardless this month has seen and will continue to see a lot of plate shifting.  In just the last two weeks there have been nearly 100 smaller quakes happen in Washington and Oregon and British Columbia and the smaller quakes combined with continued shifting during these next two weeks mark a period of time where the entire region from California up into Canada at higher than usual risk.

The MSM seems very quiet on this which gives me all the more reason to be concerned
