By arrangement with the film's writer/director, there will be a pre- 
release screening of the fresh water documentary "Blue Gold" on  
Friday night at 7 p.m., May 9, at Countryside Church UU in Palatine.

information with friends and environmental groups who might be  
interested.

While the film covers fresh water issues from a global standpoint,  
there is some coverage of Great Lakes water, especially concerning  
privatization and export for profit.

I hope you will be able to attend this free, non-partisan event and  
bring plenty of questions (and answers!) for the discussion period  
after the movie.

PUBLIC INVITED TO FREE "WORLD WATER WARS" MOVIE

Palatine, ILLINOIS - The public is invited, at no charge, to view and  
discuss the pre-release screening of the documentary film "Blue  
Gold:  World Water Wars" at 7:00 pm on Friday, May 9, at Countryside  
Unitarian Universalist Church in Palatine.
Following the movie will be a discussion about humanity's using fresh  
water faster than it can be replenished, what will become of  
remaining sources, and who will control them.  A one-page handout  
will be provided for the informal discussion, and people are  
encouraged to come with both questions and answers about water.  
Countryside's Adult Faith Development Council and Environmental  
Action Committee sponsor this.
