[CitizensTruth] Fr Counterpunch: "Wishful Thinking"

All,

I find Walsh's article, like so many from the self-proclaimed liberal 
pundits, as evading the real issue of the degree of  control and infiltration of this 
country's politics and media by the powerful confluence of high finance, 
corporate influence, and lobbyists:  the greed factor and the fear factor.

One candidate is not the problem.  One candidate is merely a symptom of the 
larger - much larger - problem.


We need to look where the problem tracks back to and that is, fundamentally, 
money.  

Who owns the media?  Who owns the politicians to a great extent?

It's time to cease focusing on the tip of one arm of the octopus.

We cannot count on the corporatist media.   Progressives need to be our own 
media.
