[CitizensTruth] Harold Pinter - voice of conscience

Harold Pinter's death a few days ago was a loss to all people of conscience who were heartened by his uncompromising opposition to the Bush doctrine and the regime behind it. Way back in October 2005 he gave his support to the fledgling movement to drive out that regime, the World Can't Wait, with this statement:

"The Bush Administration is the most dangerous force that has ever
existed. It is more dangerous than Nazi Germany because of the range
and depth of its activities and intentions worldwide. I give my full
support to the Call to Drive out the Bush Regime."     

Anne Wright
has written a remembrance of the thrill millions felt when Pinter
called out these war criminals from the platform given him when he was
awarded the Nobel Prize
for literature in 2005, http://www.truthout .org/122608J, in which she
calls for accountability for Bush, Cheney, Rice and the rest of the
criminals. The world is still waiting, it's on us to act on that demand.
