I guess Wright eventually decided it's okay to sink Obama in order to get
out his own message. If it did some good, I'd say "Amen" to this
truth-spouting preacher.
But all that Wright is accomplishing is being painted as a wacko (like us!)
And the good that I think Obama could do, having observed him up close when
he was a state legislator, gets tanked.
The media controls impressions, it doesn't really convey information. It
doesn't matter how thoroughly Wright explains himself or how accurate he is
on these shocking matters -- most people are left with the desired,
negative, wacko impression of him -- so that the truth doesn't get out.
I mean, we don't all go spouting the reality of UFOs from the rooftops --
out of respect for our 9/11 movement's credibility and in consideration of
the public's unreadiness. But Wright suddenly didn't care about any of that
sort of wisdom. In fact I think he's set back the RESPONSIBLE release of
information by some years at least. "Oh if you believe any of that, you're
just like that awful, wild-eyed Chicago preacher! What was his name?"
I have felt that Obama might be like JFK in that Kennedy did and said
certain things to get elected, but then he started acting independently --
against the corporate-military interests and for the people -- once he was
in office. (So of course they blew off his head.)
Wright has been right but then he went all-out reckless. I don't think
truth should be a hammer that harms but a light that shines. He's blown
that.
And in reaction -- which should have been further avoided -- Obama has been
driven to compromise himself.
Now a totally sick situation, in my opinion.
Connie
I think Obama would ultimately reign in Israel, by the way. Just look at
the views of one his top advisers!
