This week, Bush is heading to Israel and the Middle East, while eyes (and military might) are trained on Iran. Right here in Chicago, the City Council will vote on a resolution opposing a US attack on Iran. On Tuesday, May 13, we hope to rivet attention and mobilize public opinion against this latest looming war crime with a series of experts testifying at City Hall in favor of this resolution: Douglass Cassel, Farrah Hassan, Stephen Kinzer, John Mearsheimer, Norma Claire Mozurri, and Scott Ritter. Join us in all your orange outrage for the press conference at 10:30 am and the hearing at 11:30 am in council chambers on the 2nd Floor of Chicago City Hall, 121 N. LaSalle St. Come during your lunch hour if you work in the Loop. No Attack on Iran Pledge We Pledge: No Attack on Iran!
 Bush and Cheney are committing war crimes in Iraq,
 We refuse to be silent.

 As people of conscience, we declare now:  
 We will do everything possible to stop a war on Iran.   
 We pledge to bring business as usual to a halt if the US bombs Iran.   
 We will draw forward many others to act.   
 We pledge our resistance now because the world cannot wait.
