It's very likely this exact plan does exist -- keep us cowed first with communism (little did we know that all the Nazis brought here via Project Paperclip just continued their long-time ideological battle here, in a stealth manner).

Just IMAGINE if some knowledgeable teacher told students in the 1950's and 60's:  Now, class -- the source of all this Red Scare business and the "you'd better be anti-Communist!" indoctrination we're getting is actually from Hitler's Nazis -- those your parents fought against, but who now are taking high positions in our American governement!  Goodness, we just don't know what's worse, now do we?  Communists or Nazis!  Oh dear, oh dear..."

And now our "terrorism" bogey-man.  Time to get back under the "duck-and-cover" desks, kids!

Then of course, we can expect nasty aliens, complete with a bells-and-whistles sky-show that some people will actually BELIEVE!

However, it's my experience that the individual contacts with ETs that have been going on for a LONG time (not U.S. military-staged "alien abductions") -- but positive individual experiences and inspiring mass sightings have so many people already knowing the big difference between the real thing and a staged event that the "invasion" scenario might just turn out to be laughable!

I see the Vatican is getting on board, perhaps so they can say "oh we always supported the idea of Space Brothers" -- when they turn out to be real and good.  This article went around last year, but now it's being widely distributed by AP.

And as one teacher of these things predicted years ago, earth governments are officially releasing their impressive UFO files -- France last year, Britain a day or so ago -- with some good folks wanting to clue us in and help adjust us to upcoming healthy interaction with advanced (and SO helpful!) civilizations.  

THAT sure will make OUR powers-that-be obsolete -- despite all the demonizing they have done and will continue to do.

So much more to say about this, but all the time I have now.  Hope there's something helpful here.

  This fits what I have read:  that the plan was to keep the public in fear with a series of big scares, since the power elites realize that they can't keep one enemy-scare going indefintely, so they have to have another lined up to take over:

  1.  communism
  2.  terrorism
  3.  ET's
