Join us for the first of three lectures with speakers from Common  
Ground, an interfaith center for inquiry, study and dialogue based in  
Deerfield, IL.

In the past few years, the religions of the world have come under  
unprecedented scrutiny. On one hand, we observe powerful and  
liberating ethical and spiritual teaching, practice, and social  
action grounded in religion. On the other hand, we see almost  
incomprehensible intolerance, violence, and corruption. In this  
special presentation, Jim Kenney will concentrate on some of the  
worst that religion has given to the world, and reflect on what that  
might mean for the future.
