I recorded the first McCain/Obama debate and I just finished watching it and it made me want to puke by the time I was done. To hear them talk about Iraq, 9/11, Al Qaeda, and bin Laden was nauseating to me. It was to be expected from McCain (who did better than I thought,) but to hear Obama jump on the party line was just sickening.
 
I know it is just a dream, but I would love it if one of them had said: 
 
"Well, I want to tell the American people that WE were the instigators of 9/11. WE got bin Laden to help us. WE wanted the wars in Afghanistan in Iraq. WE used 9/11 first as the excuse to go after the Taliban in Afghanistan  because WE wanted to make sure that the 2001 poppy crop got planted after the Taliban destroyed the 2000 poppy crop and its resulting billion-dollar heroin drug profits. (Afghan heroin production for 2000 was around 3,000 tons, for 2001 it was 174 tons, 2002 was a record 3,700 tons after we set the drug lords free.)
 
"WE supported the recent GEORGIAN bombing of its own populace so WE could go in and secure a pipeline. WE wanted an excuse to enact the Patriot Act and all its accompanying destruction of constitutional guarantees. I want you to know that EVERYTHING, ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING, that we have done in the name of 9/11 and fighting this phony terrorism war is BULLSHIT. 
 
This is the first time that anyone has told you, the American people, the truth. And if you think I'm crazy, answer one simple question: How, other than by the use of an oxidizing explosive such as thermite, can you explain MOLTEN IRON lasting for over four weeks in the basement of WTC Building 7, which was flooded with fire-fighters' water and not hit by an aircraft? (Molten iron lasted a similar time in the basements of WTC1 and WTC2.) 
 
"Now get ready for my assassination."
 
How much of that speech do you think would have been aired before a "technical difficulty" blacked it out?
