[CitizensTruth] shock doctrine

Before Naomi Klein published The Shock Doctrine, the 9/11 Truth  
community was connecting the dots.

I saw it because I was reading everything I could find on the subject  
for a talk at the Chicago 2006 9/11 conference. The talk began with  
defense mechanisms and how people resist the truth, then got into  
shock, starting with work by I. P. Pavlov.

There is a constellation, including

9/11, PATRIOT Act, Homeland Security formed, wire-tapping, torture
U.S. credit collapse, foreclosures, the bail-out

economic shock therapy dating back to Pinochet-Friedman era in Chile

Understanding the mechanisms of shock prepares us for the future.  
Information, solidarity, compassion, and clarity are needed more than  
ever.
