I can't help but think this guy lost his limbs in war.  I wonder if he 
would have found such a magnificent career otherwise.  Maybe all this war 
is serving a purpose that we just don't understand.  Or maybe it's just a 
reflection of our own internal wars.  One thing I'm finding out more and 
more about myself is that I'm awfully damned critical.  Maybe criticism is 
really violence wearing makeup.  After all, didn't we use to think it was 
okay to spank our kids.  I long for the day I'm as repulsed by mild 
criticism as I am by beating a child.  I guess that would be my version of 
finishing strong (or at least getting to a little bit higher ground).

Oh my gosh, I'm having another Zen attack.
