*COMMUNITY  CONVERSATIONS*



To help keep communities like those throughout the Fox River watershed
prosperous, the Chicago Metropolitan Agency for Planning (CMAP) is
developing a regional comprehensive plan called *GO TO 2040*
. This plan will develop and apply strategies for addressing growth and its
serious implications on quality of life issues including transportation,
housing, economic development, open space, the environment, and natural
resources. *We want to hear your environmental perspectives *in each of
these issue areas regarding how the region should plan for 2040. *GO TO 
2040
*regional plan will be built on a common vision of how residents want
northeastern Illinois to look for themselves, their children, and their
grandchildren.

You are invited to participate in a *GO TO 2040 *Community Conversation
hosted by the *Fox River Ecosystem Partnership (FREP), the Elgin Community
Network Elgin Alive series, and the Gail Borden Library *
