It literally laid out on the table for them, verbally even, exactly what they are or are not stepping up to the plate to address. It sorts them all out in terms of their ball quotient and I think that helps. I have long thought it helpful to know just who is in my court and who is not. I for one would not have wanted to go down in the record of this country as NOT supporting this measure, had it come up to an official count, which it has. And also, should this come up again, it now shows how many more it would take to pass this proposition. </div><div>And it clearly shows Dennis' courage --- this present day David standing up to the Goliath of our collectively brain/conscience-damaged body of Government called Congress.<div>In his keynote address at the Media Reform Conference, Bill Moyers likened what is going on to what goes on for an alcoholic, and I would say it could be likened to other major addictions as well. We collectively have many characteristics of a severely addicted individual and UNdoing an addiction is a very messy business and is never fun or easy. And usually there is MUCH damage to clean up, </div><div>I just returned from the Media Reform Conference. There are some stunning individuals who have come forth through that organization, and it is clear to me, for the third time attending as a concerned citizen, that mobilizing around media reform is one of the seminal necessities in pushing both back at the current psychopathic addictive behaviors who keep exerting their pathological and egocentric decisions, and also steering new policy toward moving forward in a way that makes not only survival but transformation possible.</div><div>It is clear we will change, we will cope in one way or another. A media that helps to bring us together through keeping us honestly informed of what is going on is a major part of that, cuz one way or t'other, we're going through this transition, folks, which is far larger than any one or several governments on Mama Earth. And relative to where we all live, here on a very busily transitioning Mother Earth, we ARE in this all together. It has something to do with the way Kucinich introduced the <br>bill using a special prioritization procedure that enabled him to bypass <br>normal channels.
