To unsub, just ask. And please forward!
Hi everyone!

I'm at Kripalu, having a wonderful week doing Dancemeditation with Dunya
(a moving form of meditation she originated, based on sufi dance). I'm
planning to bring her to VT at some point, b/c what she is doing is so
exciting and important, and has had such a profound impact on my dance.

But I'll be back in time for these cool events:

Friday, April 25th, Sonia is
sponsoring Helene Eriksen in concert at the ***Masonic Hall*** in
Montpelier, VT on Friday 4/25 and then in the kick-off of her Intensive
Training Program on Saturday and Sunday, 4/26 & 27 (see below for
directions. Email Sonia for more info:
<dance_and_sound at earthlink.net>

Sunday, April 27, Sabah brings the incomparable
Michael Gregian to Cabot, VT (Cabot Library). Maybe the best drummer for
dancers I have ever heard, and a lovely, generous, kind teacher. Alia
dancing in the show, which features all LIVE music, with Mike and Costas
maniatakos on oud. Yay!

Saturday, May 3, Alia teaching
solo improvisation and performing in the evening show at Temple Night in
Rutland, VT (Also teaching/performing: Pacita Prasam, Bennington Beledi,
and Shelby). Workshops at Studio Bliss, show at Unitarian Church (GREAT
venue!) Contact Shelby to register: vermontdancer22 at comcast.net
Love
to everyone!

Directions for Helene
Eriksen:
Site change for Helene Eriksen for concert and
workshop this coming weekend. The new site is the Masonic Hall, on
Gallison Hill Road in Montpelier. Gallison Hill is just off Route 2, a
short way from the intersection of Routes 2 and 302.

For those
taking exit 7 off I-89, follow the signs for Route 302 toward Montpelier.
At the bottom of the hill, turn Left. You’ll go a couple of miles to the
intersection of Routes 2 & 302. Turn Right onto Route 2 East (near the
traffic light). ** Go across the Railroad tracks - you'l see the Agway
store on your right. After the Agway, get into the left lane to turn Left
onto Gallison Hill Road (you'll see signs for U-32 High School and for the
Central Vermont Memorial Civic Center). Turn left into the upper driveway
for the Civic Center. The Masonic Hall is at the end of the drive, on the
right (the yellowish tan building).

For those taking exit 8 off
I-89, stay on Route 2 East, toward Barre. At the light at the intersection
of Routes 2 and 302, stay to the left hand lane to go straight and remain
on Route 2 East. You'll cross the Railroad tracks and follow from **,
above.

For those coming in from Route 2 West (North & East
Montpelier, Hardwick, etc.), Gallison Hill Road is on the Right, after the
Montesori School/WigGoddess and the car dealership. You'll see a gas
station and the Agway ahead of you on the left.

This site is
still convenient to the same hotels.

Final weekend cost this
time is $175 for the Saturday/Sunday training, plus $10 for your show
ticket. $20 for individual non-participant adult show tickets.
