Hi everyone

*Parade*
The July 11 Lake Champlain Quadricentennial Parade was a crazy, drenched,
heroic success! Despite torrential rain, almost every group went ahead and
strutted its stuff down Main Street. We were there! 22 brave, dedicated,
waterlogged bellydancers and drummers, in a never-to-be forgotten Art vs The
Elements Grand Smackdown! Art Kicked Ass!

THANK YOU to all the dancers and drummers who gave their time and energy.
YOU ROCK!

Summer Classes*
Summer Belly Dance FUN Series.
Tuesdays from 5-6:30 in West Burke, VT
Mixed level classes, improv, combinations, etc
$15 per class


Summer Advanced Belly Dance Ass-Kicking Series
Wednesdays from 5-6:00 at Catamount Arts. Starts tomorrow, 7/15.
Performance studies, improv, complex combinations, choreographic fragments.
Critique and homework. Serious dancers only. It WILL kick your ass.
$15 per class / $50 4-week August session

Private lessons are available most times in West Burke and days only at
Catamount. $35 per hour when you come to me. Get 'em while they're cheap!
Price going up in September.

Host me! Have Hips, Will Travel. Group Lessons, Bellygrams, Goddess Parties,
etc,

I will be traveling with Tamalyn Dallal on her Backroads Tour so there are
NO CLASSES July 16 - August 1.
Also No Class Tuesday, August 11.

*Other News*
Gina and her dance group, Raqs Salaam will be performing for the third year
in a row at the Hanover Street Fest on Saturday, July 18.  The performance
is from 11:30-noon, right outside Molly's Balloon. http://ginadances.com

Master African Dancer Caro Diallo from Senegal brings us a performance  that
will move your soul!* *Friday, July 24th, 2009 7:30pm (doors open at 7)$10.00.
