<br>Thirty choreographers were chosen to present works in the Parade. One of them was ALIA. <br><br>For three weeks, 20 brave belly dancers have been rehearsing like mad</span></span><span id="profile_status"><span id="status_text">.</span></span> Five rhythms, five groups, in five locations: Belly dancers of all ages and skill levels, from across Vermont and beyond, have come together for this event. <br>

ALL the dancers and drummers for your time and dedication. <br><br>Each group chose a rhythm, contributed ideas, and created a staged section for their rhythm and a processional sequence for the entire rhythm cycle. Alia’s artistic direction provided the framework for the production, united these elements, and set them in a cohesive whole. Live drumming coordinated by Travis Shores makes th whole production come alive!<br>

along Main Street and climaxing at Union Station, this parade features
a first-ever performance parade with hundreds of dancers,
choreographers, magicians, stilt-walkers, giant puppets, and much more.
