Thats exactly the point i was trying to make, only you made it in a much better way ;-)
Something i'd like to bring to the front of the queue here is we've mainly concentrated on how to implement dcc file sends. The dcc2 protocol supports dcc chats too, right? I'm as interested in this as file transfers so has anyone considered how these subsystems such as compression and encryption will fit into dcc2 chats?
