I agree, I think the best way to handle multi-user chats is to have the 
initiating user have total control. 
One way to handle multi-user chats would be to have a user invite any others 
into a multi-user chat.  Whenever a user says something in this chat, along 
with being displayed for the user to read, the client automatically forwards 
the message on to the other connected users.
