Then you are arguing the wrong case dude. Since what I've been talking
about is more than just nick changing, why get all defensive on it? I
may have included something from your pet idea in my original post,
but I'm not knocking it. I don't really see the need for nick change
in DCC Chat anyway, but it's not worth arguing over. -My- case is for
separating the partyline crap from basic DCC Chat.

I don't mind CTCP over DCC at all. Heck, it's already there, as you've
pointed out. I just am against using it for things that aren't really
appropriate for CTCP. The control stream thing would again be more
than just a simple direct chat. That doesn't make it a bad idea, just
a more complicated one. Don't read more into this than there is :) You
seem to think I'm attacking your personal idea, but that's not the
case at all.
Anyhow, this is just about run into the ground so I'm calling it quits
on this thread unless some dire circumstance requires my expertise ;P
