This email is to notify you that version 9.05 of DESIGN II for Windows is now available on our website at
www.winsim.com/download.html .

This is a maintenance release of DESIGN II for Windows.  This new release has the following changes:
1. Fixed the stream line sizing dialog to allow either delta pressure drop specification or an inside diameter
2. Fixed the printing of additional sheets of a multi-sheet flowsheet file when the sheet did not contain a stream data box
3. The water solubility for all flash calculations has been changed to use the McKetta chart when there is two percent or more
methane in the mixture
4. Fixed the results problem on feed stream mass flow due to QUA UNI OUT selection different than AME UNI OUT global units
5. Fixed the Case Study Restore command to transfer info properly within case study commands
6. Increased the maximum number of internal iterations for hydrotreater module for better convergence
7. Added warning on enthalpy balance on heat exchangers using a duty specification when not converged in closed loop recycle
problems
8. Enhanced hydrate predictions by setting up different water solubility methods at high pressures. Improved the calculation of the
methanol inhibition temperature at high pressures and low methonal or high methanol in the free water phase. Also added calculation
of the Nielson and Bucklin estimated hydrate formation temperature when methanol is present in the mixture.
8. Miscellaneous small enhancements and fixes (see release notes at http://www.winsim.com/products/relnotes.chm )

If you are on MSS or a Program Usage Agreement, then please download the new version.  The new CDs should start going out in a
couple of days.

Please note that we expect to release version 9.10 of DESIGN II for Windows in March.  New features to be expected are Internal
Streams for Refine columns, Hydrate Formation curve for Streams, Phase Envelope and Phase Map for Streams, and others to be
announced !

Please note that the Password algorithm was changed for the 9.00 release.  Your new password should have been emailed to the contact
person for your account.  If you need a new password, please contact support at winsim.com with your serial number for your new
password if you are on MSS or a Usage agreement.

You may testdrive the new release by downloading it (33 MB) from our website and installing it.  Run DESIGN II for Windows and a
dialog will come up with your Computer ID and ask you for a Serial Number and Password.  You can get a Serial Number and Password
emailed to you from www.winsim.com/gen2wkps.html on a 24 hour a day, 7 days a week basis.
