This email is to notify you that version 9.16 of DESIGN II for Windows
is now available on our website at www.winsim.com/download.html .
This is a upgrade release of DESIGN II for Windows. This new release
has the following changes:
1. Added Lists of Streams and Equipments to the Browser box in Selection
mode so the user can easily find them on any of the sheet(s) in a file
2. Added the stream name and number or the equipment name and number
to the error message when two streams are connected to the same port on
an equipment or if stream starts and ends from the same port. Also corrected
the topology error message and its Next / Previous buttons.
3. Fixed a problem in re-naming sheets for flowsheets with eight or more sheets.
4. Fixed a problem in copying a group of streams and modules for large
flowsheets. Also added an Undo / Redo event for region moves.
5. Fixed an Excel transfer problem in stream detailed results transfer & case
study table on base case flowsheet.
6. Previously displayed flowsheet values will now remain even when output
file is not present. Old displayed data will only be refreshed when an output file
is present.
7. Included a new boiling point estimation method called JOBACK in
ChemTran. Component structure should be included for using this method.
8. Fixed an intermittent problem in calculating and printing elevation pressure
drop in line module due to memory allocations between GUI & Kernel on
Windows XP.
9. Fixed a problem in "Size this stream" option. Previously, maximum delta P
and maximum velocity values specified for first stream were used for sizing
all other streams also.
10. Miscellaneous small enhancements and fixes (see release notes at
http://www.winsim.com/products/relnotes.chm )
