Extending grace to our leaders is a journey of faith. All of us can find 
fault with those in authority over us -- pastors, policemen, presidents, 
parents. All of these leaders are human and fallible.

I admit that I've done it myself.

But there's a reason why I'm in a place of submission and that leader is 
in a place of leadership. Why? Is it because the leader is better than 
we are? No. It means that we have an opportunity to believe that God can 
work out His plan through that leader despite his faults. After all, God 
works through us, despite our faults.

God is constantly giving us an opportunity to gain a bigger and better 
view of who He really is. Fallible leaders are an example. When we bring 
to the Lord why the leader bugs us, God usually transforms us first, so 
that we can see that He is perfectly capable of accomplishing His will 
with that leader.
