Hi everyone

Someone has graciously given us an above ground pool that we could put 
in our back yard.  I see this as a gift from God that answers our 
prayers of giving our children another way to connect with other kids 
and make new friends.  However, as I add up the costs of installation, 
they come to several hundred dollars, so I'm looking for ways to reduce 
that expense.

I would be happy to barter with someone for any of the following help 
with installation:

Licensed electrician to install separate circuit - from our garage (one 
electrician gave us an estimate of $370)
Tree trimmer to cut dead branches out of our maple tree above where the 
pool will be
Inspection / service of the pump - the previous owner was told that the 
bearings might be going bad
Any help with leveling the ground and/or sand - might be possible to get 
a Bobcat in there, but it would be tough
Installation of a self closing, self-latching lockable gate
A new liner (24 foot by 4 foot round pool)
Chemicals for the pool

(The first three are the most critical for us.)

We are happy to help - do most of the work ourselves - We just have 
limited skills in most of these areas.

Services that we are willing to offer in exchange:

Basic web site design (can help with design, writing, domain 
registration, hosting, basic html coding, PayPal account set up, etc.)
Writing - brochures, fliers, books, letters, whatever - I am a 
professional writer/author
Basic computer support - help with applications, email issues, etc.
Food - Kim can do the personal chef service
Theophostic Prayer Ministry - Kim and/or I are trained and experienced
Childcare - Kim or Liza can provide
Beginner tutoring in karate (not a substitute for professional 
instruction, but a supplement to) - Hans is a red belt - his technique 
in nearly flawless
