[Discoveries] 06-28-07 Time is on God's side

I don't know exactly why God gives some men power over others, but I do 
know this: He requires those in power to answer for how they use that 
power.

Certainly you don't have to look far to find people who misuse the power 
they've been given. But most of these abuses are unknown to us. God 
graciously limits the amount of information we receive, because if we 
knew the whole truth about evil, it would be more than we could handle.

I was praying about this, and I felt that the Lord gave me an insight I 
didn't notice before. I was sharing with the Lord how impatient I feel 
because sometimes it seems like such a slow painstaking process to see 
people delivered from the evil that has been perpetrated against them. I 
felt like the Lord said to me: "Time is on My side." In other words, the 
enemy is running out of time. He has a deadline and he is frantic. God, 
on the other hand, has eternity.
