[Discoveries] 07-03-07 A supernatural life

*"Go, stand in the temple courts," he said, "and tell the people the 
full message of this new life." -- Acts 5:20*

The Christian life is a supernatural life. Here, I think, most of us 
would agree. But what, exactly, does this mean?

Does it mean, for example, that money shows up in our mailbox, or that 
the doctor looks at the chart in disbelief and says, "There's no way I 
can account for what happened to you -- this is a bona fide miracle!"? 
Does it mean that we drive all day on empty, or announce something that 
only God could reveal? Does it mean that we feel tingly and then fall 
over in church?

Some of those things have happened to me and some of them may have 
happened to you. But this is not, I believe, what is meant when we say 
that we live a supernatural life.

A supernatural life can be very quiet. In fact, you might miss it 
altogether. It might be happening just in front of you and you might 
never see it. Just like the angels. There, but invisible.

In fact, a supernatural life is quiet most of the time. Most people have 
no idea it's happening, except the one experiencing it.
