[Discoveries] 10-22-07 The funnel - John 15:5

Our guest author today is Chris Breen. She sent me these thoughts some 
time ago, and I wanted to share them with you.

God places us in a funnel. By allowing circumstances and people to 
pressure us, He eventually moves us into the neck of the funnel, where 
there is only me and Christ. He squeezes all effort, all religion, all 
ability, all knowledge out of us, to bring us face to face with our 
absolute inadequacy apart from Him. Nothing that comes into our life 
catches Him by surprise. He has set our path before us, and, in His 
sovereignty, knows the whys. He knows what will come to bring us into 
the funnel with him, down into the neck, and deep into His Life.

Trust Him for the process and leave all questions with His glorious wisdom.
