What can we do with sin? Absolutely nothing except this one thing: We 
can agree with God that we hate it.

Beyond that it's all God.

John prepared the way for Christ. That's all he could do. John had no 
answer for sin. All he could do was gather people together who were sick 
of what sin was doing to their lives. They -- and we -- all stand and 
wait for the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world.
