Hi Everybody

I would like to ask for your prayers for a financial breakthrough for us.

Until the end of April, we had a janitorial contract that helped sustain 
us financially. That has ended and will not be renewed this fall.

I write for clients. I do good work and my clients have been happy with 
my work. But despite concerted effort to locate new clients (hundreds 
and hundreds of contacts), I've had almost no work for several months, 
and although some major clients have talked about working with me, no 
action so far. I also create websites, but no activity there either.

I'm seeking investors or grants for a Christian social networking 
website that I believe God wants us to start. It should be able to 
sustain us just fine, but will require about five months of additional 
start up work before we could expect to depend on it for a living. I've 
made many contacts, but no responses so far. (This is what I really want 
to do.)

We started the summer with the expectation of selling our home and 
buying another in an arrangement that would have released enough money 
to give us a cushion for a while. Our buyers fell through, and we 
haven't been able to sell our home.

Unexpected expenses have multiplied this summer.

Although we receive (and greatly appreciate) some donations to our 
ministry, so far they pay expenses; we don't pull much, if any income 
from the ministry.

All of this leaves us with our backs up against the wall (or the Red 
Sea, if you prefer).

Of course, we have prayed. And we are doing our best to follow the 
instructions we believe the Lord is giving us,  but we would appreciate 
your prayers as well.

If you have considered sending a donation to our ministry, now would be 
a good time. If you have any leads for me in the areas mentioned above, 
please let me know.
