I am pretty familiar with what to look for when surveying a boat, in general, but am looking for some intuitive insider information regarding the Ericson/O-34. Info from those actively or previously sailing one of these fine boats would be much appreceated. Your website has been very helpful. I actively drysail and race an O-30 out of the Southern Chesapeake Bay, but have seen my priorities change, which prompted the move to a different boat. The combination of Olson & Ericson is perfect. Once the survey is satisfied I will move the boat to Hampton, VA. Many thanks Craig T. I have been restoring a E-29 which had been damaged in a storm and neglected for many years. Except for painting and various other cosmetic projects, I have begun sorely need upgrades. I'm planning to begin some extensive cruising this time next year, and would love to build a rappore w/ you in the meantime. Although having no specific experience w/ the E-34, I do have extensive experience in & on numerous vessels and would be glad to give you the benefit of that if I can.
