i am a paramedic i was called up 1 feb for the guard also and i returned in 
15 june to my job. alouth the pay was a big difference from 75k as a paramedic 
to 41k as a boarding person in the coast guard but the federal law protect you 
for returning back to your work reguardless on how long as long as it is one 
of the 3 operations such as enduring freedom, nobel eagle or operations in the 
desert
