Try to always have some food in your stomach and stay well hydrated. Air/
motion
sickness seems to worsen with an empty stomach. And carry some type of snack
with you, as well as water. Bonine ( meclazine ) is very effective, and I'm
told that the "benadryl-type" stupor will subside in time. ( with regular use).
The ginger candy idea
is also good. Ginger has an antinausea-emetic effect ..... and you can NEVER
have too much sugar. I used to give one of my dogs ginger snaps for car
sickness which worked well. I don't know about the wrist bands, they don't seem to
work around here.......And of course, if your nausea doesn't get any better,
maybe you should re-think your choice of careers, because at some point it may
be a safety concern.(vomit on the instrument panel is not good, nor an unclear
mind.)
Besides there are other venues in EMS.
In the words of Clint Eastwood, " A man's( or woman's) got to know his(her)
limitations."

For what it's worth.
