We too have used the iStat for 10 years. It is a great, reliable machine that can give you invaluable info (not just gases but electrolytes, hematocrit/hgb, ACT's (I know you dont need these in the field generally) Troponins, ) without the need for a large lab and with a dot of blood. Great for neonates to the largest patients.
