You're right Roy. If our teams have a pilot that has knowledge of clinical X
Rays, they're welcome to participate. Perhaps I made an inaccurate
assumption that there weren't any combination pilot-clinician folks out
there. Heck, if the teams want a pilot without clinical expertise, they can
STILL use them.
I DO need two helpers to run the show though. (Integral to the operation,
just like pilots!) I was going to pick them randomly from the audience, but
if any pilots are interested, drop me a line and you'll get priority. First
come, first served.

It would be nice to include pilots to your team...we're the guys who fly our
medical teams around. You may have seen us in the helicopter...we're the
person in the front at the controls.

Hi everyone:
I have the privilege of trying out something new at AMTC this year-it's a
game show format session called "X Ray Wars". It's scheduled for September
18th from 0945 to 1045. In order to have a game show, I have to have
players, and that's where you may come in. I've got a tentative acceptance
from a "home team", but I need a "visiting team" still. Soooo, if your
program has several people attending the conference, I hope that you'll
consider volunteering.
Here are the ground rules: The team should be three persons, with a minimum
of one RN and one paramedic and the third person being any provider other
than a physician. I will send you some study information to prep with. Most
of the topics will have been covered in my previous Trauma X Ray and Can You
CT lectures. I would ask that the teams meet me at about 0930 so that I can
brief you. There will be some (admittedly minor) gifts for playing.
I'll take the first team that contacts me. You don't even have to officially
represent your program, but I would prefer to stick with a program based
team. If that doesn't work out, I'll take individual volunteers.
I'm hoping that this turns out to be a fun session for one and all. Please
email me or call me if you have any questions or would like to participate.
Thanks!
Laurie
