Why Go To Work Each Day?

I go to work each day to earn money to pay my bills. But, the reason I don't mind going to work every day is because I am fortunate to have a job that I love and I feel I am good at what I do. It is very rewarding to be called to transport a child that is so sick that he/she requires a higher level of care and be able to respond with the skills and expertise needed to help that child improve even before arriving at the specialty hospital. Each day brings something new and creates ways to challenge myself daily to be the best nurse I can be. Even though many children are gravely ill, I have a chance to ease that child's pain or offer some comfort to the parents. Best of all, most of them get better.

Subject: Why Go To Work Each Day?

Hi - I was asked to give a talk on "Why Do We Go to Work Each Day?" and I
would like to pick your brains. What are the top three reasons that gets you
out of bed and to your shift each day? I don't need names, just profession
and unit (like RN/LD, or PM/Flight). I appreciate the help!
Thanks (and sorry for any cross posting)!
