Hello Scott,

Currently we obtain an axillary temp prior to departure then we are monitoring skin temp continuously throughout transport. If there is a question regarding the temp such as the skin temp is out of range or the baby feels cold or warm we will monitor intermittent axillary temps.

Greetings - Looking for input on what other teams are doing with induced neonatal hypothermia & temperature monitoring during transport - specifically are you monitoring skin vs. axillary/rectal temps enroute? also, if axillaryrectal temp is monitored, continous vs. intermittent?
any input welcomed
thanx!
