The University of Rochester has a Transfer Center that has been working for
about 10 years.  I have dealt with transfer centers elsewhere, and theirs is
really one of the best I have come across over my years.  The phone number
is 800.499.9298.  I don't know who the charge person is any longer, but if
one of your folks calls this number I am sure they will be able to get in

Many flight programs' commcenters also serve as "transfer centers."  
Some hospitals have a separate dedicated service to coordinate the 
transfer (i.e, acceptance to the appropriate service, etc.) before 
handing it off to the the flight program for transport.

Our hospital is looking into a new dedicated transfer center and would 
like to get information from others who already do this -- and do it 
well.  Please contact me if you have a recommendation and contact 
person.
