isolette transports - non neonate question

For us, if they fit in the isolette, that is how they are transported.
Generally these are babies under 5.5 kg, but we have squeezed them in up
to 6kg. For babies (non-neonates over 5 kg) and toddlers who are
relatively stable (not intubated), we usually prefer a car seat secured
to the gurney over the pedi-mate.

Greetings - I'm looking for input on how other teams transport little
ones (not in the nursery/NICU), but from the ER/peds floors (i.e. kid is
a few weeks old, but still "little" - Especially for those under 10 or
so pounds, do you bring an isolette vs. porta-warmers & pedi-mates? Any
experiences welcomed
