Transfer Centers

[David Kim]

Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise, Idaho created such a center about 1.5 years ago.  The "Medical Access Center" is one-stop shopping for physician consults, patient transfers and air medical transport.  We experienced multiple hiccups and belches during implementation but things are going pretty smoothly now.  I'd be happy to provide additional details if you like.
