Hi Michelle,
I am a Helicopter Rescue Swimmer for the USCG and our aircrews use the LPU-27/P SAR Warrior Life Vest while aviating over water. It may be a little more than what your looking for but it's supurb for missions that involve flying over water. It has an inflatable life vest that has up to 65lbs. of bouyancy when actuated by 2 CO2 bottles. It also has intergrated webbing loops near the chest for a one-time use of being hoisted from the water in the event of a water landing. Also, it has a pocket for a SEAS bottle, (Survival Emergency Air System) for up to 3 minutes of breathable air in cases of shallow water EGRESS. Also, many pockets for emergency devices such as EPIRBs, flares, strobe lights, mirrors, etc. Anyways, thought I would just let you know! Oh yea, here is a link to get an idea of what it looks like.

Life Flight Salt Lake City is looking for feedback on the best over water flying
life jackets (PFD). We are currently using a type that inflates on demand. Crew
complains they are cumbersome, and crew is afraid to move around too much for
fear they might inflate the life jacket. Another complaint is difficulty
returning to package after use. We seldom fly over water, but when we do...
Thanks,
