Lifejackets

I fly , (used to ) International Air Ambulance, and have to say we
never wear life jackets. We fly in Lear's and the jackets are under
the seat, and there is a raft in the jet that is deployed by the
Pilots. I have to say I have never even been trained on the use of
the life vests!! I have been with the company for 3 years, and don't
even get briefed about emergency egress yearly!
I am an old AF FN so I guess they just assume. I have been out due
to back injury for 5 months now. I have begun to look
at other career options. My sister has a travel agency and at least
I can work in that field, phone and computer, without further back
injury.
