Greetings - I just wanted toquickly touch base about some new pediatric emergency courses that we areoffering through Peds-R-Us Medical Education - A few months ago, "Let'sget messy: pediatric play time" hit south Texas and was sold out 1 monthprior to the course - it involves hands on skills in airway management (withactual tracheas, lungs, hearts), vascular access, and more before concludingwith pediatric pearls & jeopardy jewels where contestants compete forvaluable bubble gum bandaid prizes and bragging rights among theirco-workers. In addition, my most popular presentation, "Tattoos, tongues, & trauma: Body piercing & tattooing - Medical myths vs.research realities" continues to evolve with my ongoing experiences as a non-pierced,non-tattooed medical consultant for the association of professionalpiercers. Lastly, in January, ENA's new Certified Pediatric EmergencyNurse (CPEN) exam debuted and to assist those preparing for the exam, we nowoffer a 1 or 2 day live CPEN review course as well as the only CPEN review bookcurrently in print. More information on these or other live/videopediatric emergency presentations is available at www.peds-r-us.com or pleasee-mail me (scott at peds-r-us.com) if I can assist further
Take care and happy new year!
Scott
