They're selling brand new on Amazon for: Nikon D80 10.2MP Digital SLR Camera Body: $534 (new) Nikon D100 6MP Digital SLR Camera: $280 (used) Given that data, I'm asking $450 for the D80 and $250 for the D100. Both are in very good, if not mint condition and I'll sell ya both for $650 if you want to just go for 'em both. Why am I selling? I'm replacing both bodies with a Nikon D300 and, well, am going to have to swallow the difference. Help me out here, guys, if ya need a second body, this is a great chance! Thanks! Without going into the debate about Canon versus Nikon, I wanted to share with you how amazing the technology advances are. The features that are being incorporated into the cameras amaze me. I never would have considered using an "auto ISO" feature where the camera selects the best. I actually turned it on with out knowing it. Then it occurs to me, how can I be shooting at f16 all the time? When I looked at the images there really wasn't any noticeable difference. I wouldn't use this regularly, but it is a great feature for every day shots. The range of ISO is amazing, and I think I have tried them all! On this camera 50 - 25,600. I was fairly certain it was a gimmick, but the ISO range is really usable. I have taken a number of shots at 6000, 8000 and did not see a quality issue. On board processing - The high ISO shots I took had no noise reduction applied in camera. If you wanted to use a high ISO there are four levels of noise reduction. I have seen examples and it is a real feature. There are also many more options for bracketing, image highlights and fill, auto lighting etc. >From a landscape standpoint, Mirror lockup can be turned on any time, low ISO option, live view mode with a grid, use of standard lenses (a 28mm is a 28mm!). etc - Battery life is significantly better. - 1080 HDMI movies! I haven't even played with this yet. - AF confirmation mark on the image to show the focus point. - ability to check and calibrate micro focus for you lenses. The list goes on and on. I am happy that we have Cannon, Nikon and now Sony (another nice camera BTW), as it keeps the features coming and the prices lower. Imagine if we did not have the competition. Let me know if I can answer any questions. Kevin
