Subject: [FRPS] Photographer Needed

As most of you know, I'm co-chairing the Louisville Art Association's  
National Photography Show again this year. Our opening reception is  
Saturday, June 27th from 7-9pm and I would like a volunteer  
photographer to come along and take photos of the evening's events.  
It's going to be a great show and the reception has free food and  
drinks (wine) with a packed house. I'll be the MC for the awards  
presentation so I'll need additional photos of each award recipient.  
Otherwise, I just need someone to roam around and take pictures of  
people enjoying the art/food/conversations.

Overall, it's a super simple assignment, but you'll get to see and  
meet a lot of artists and art enthusiasts.

Any volunteers?

Hey, quick note if you're looking to pick up a couple (or 3 or 4)  
Alien Bees (B400 or B800) units for a steep discount, check out the  
Denver Darkroom ad below. The B800's are about $200, but a subsequent  
email from Jaime indicated they'd take less than that for the B400s.  
The B400's list for $225 new, so make an offer. I was going to suggest  
$300/pair for the B400s.

Good deal if you have the cash ready!

wish I could but $$$ is tight, and I need another B800!  I have 2 with
lightboxes and wireless remotes and I'm very happy with them.  I recently
used them to light an ice rink with good results.   But now I need a job
more than another light.  <sigh>
